法学研究科は「比較法学コース」を開始しました　The Graduate School of Law has newly launched the Master’s Program in Comparative Law

大学院法学研究科は、教育・研究をすべて英語で行う修士課程「比較法学コース」を新たに始めました。9月より、第1期生として、ウズベキスタンから、JICAが実施するJDS（人材育成奨学計画）事業の留学生3人を含めた4人が入学し、授業の履修や研究活動に励んでいます。

彼らは、自国において公務員として勤務しており、コース修了後は、帰国して、法の支配に基づく国づくりに貢献することが期待されています。

活躍する法曹人材を育成するため、本研究科は、大学院生の研究環境も整えています。例えば、専用の研究室を設けたり、授業の履修や研究の遂行についてきめ細やかなサポートを行なったりしています。

The Graduate School of Law has newly launched a Master’s Program in Comparative Law, in which all classes and research activities are conducted entirely in English.
In September, the program welcomed its first cohort of four students from Uzbekistan, including three JDS (Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by JICA) fellows. The students are actively engaged in their coursework and research.

All of them are public officials in their home country, and upon completing the program, they are expected to return and contribute to nation-building based on the rule of law.

To cultivate such capable legal professionals, the Graduate School provides a supportive research environment. For example, graduate students have access to a dedicated research room and receive close academic and research guidance.
